An RFD connects to a cluster-tree network as a leaf device at the end of a branch (RFDs do not allow other devices to associate). An FFD device may act as a coordinator and provide synchronization services to other devices or other coordinators. WebTree network. A tree topology, or star-bus topology, is a hybrid network topology in which star networks are interconnected via bus networks. [1] [2] Tree networks are hierarchical, and each node can have an arbitrary number of child nodes.
